Well, I’ve experienced Dell notebook that burst into flame before, but I never heard or seen an exploding one. The Inquirer has this funny report here, though it’s no joke, batteries are known to have this sort of problem (The exploding cell phone, remember?). I guess that’s a negative point on Dell, but they did have recalls on batteries prior to that if I remember correctly, so basically it’s not their fault if the guy didn’t return it.
