Nvidia GTX280+ 55nm Coming Soon?

Decato | 23 Aug 2008 - Anyone read about this? According to info around the web Nvidia is launching the 55nm version of GTX280 at Nvision 08 (Green version of E3), which is around August 26th.

After googling around, the significant rumoured spec change would be on the shader clock, which rises from 1296mhz to 1620mhz. Core gets only 48mhz increase while there’s no clear info on the memory clock.

Also, an updated version of GTX260 is expected, with 24 additional shader processors being added, from 192 to 216. While everything else remains the same.
