There has been alot of speculation lately concerning Dell’s aquisition of Alienware. Cnet’s Alpha Blog talks about their findings. Remember the previous hot rumour about the Dell and AMD alliance that didn’t go down? Probably due to peer pressure from the big blue. So what do you think will happen if AlienDellWare is a done deal? Alienware dumping all their AMD line-up? Or Dell’s finally selling AMD… with another name? By the way, check out the main sites of Dell and Alienware, notice the similiarities
Also on Dell, they have recently released a 30″LCD, sporting a native resolution of 2560×1600. As you may already know, it’s always recommended to run an LCD at native resolution, as any lower would mean interploration, making it look all blurry. FiringSquad has put up a practical preview on how the lastest video cards from both ATI and Nvidia would perform at this insanely high resolution.
In other news, Google has joined in the search for Extra-Terrestrials! After the super popular Google Earth, now there’s Google Mars. Check it out! And finally, read all about the barfight at CeBIT 2006. LEAVE A COMMENT
