As you all already know, reviews of 4870×2 has been popping up all over the internet. If you haven’t read them already go google around or just simply go to DailyTech for a list of reviews so far.

What interest me though, is this little piece of article from Guru3D on Nvidia Physx. Sure there’s quite a few Nvidia Physx around but the guys at Guru3D tried something different, which is pairing a GTX280 for rendering with 9600gt for pure physx calculation only. Kinda reminds me of a discussion I had with a friend a few years ago on possibility of this happening, where I could use my old 8800gts for this exact purpose while pairing with a newer vid card. Due to the fact that it’s not in SLI mode means you don’t even need a SLI motherboard, it will do as long as you have 2 PCIe slots. Now.. time to look around if anyone successfully pair Nvidia Physx card with ATI for graphics ;)
